Ph.D, A Design Office

After working on the Eames Primer with Charles and Ray Eames’ grandson, Eames Demetrios, we became good friends. In 2008, Eames asked us to work on the titles for a short film he did with Vitra announcing the production of these adorable little plywood elephants that had been designed by Charles and Ray. In keeping with their legacy, he wanted a simple but powerful title card, but we thought it still needed to have some motion to it. The solution was recruiting the elephants to nudge over the titles with their trunks.
