High School Confidential

Scott Schaller, a teacher at Cabrillo High School in Lompoc, is an annual visitor to the offices of Ph.D. Last week he brought a new group of students from the Cabrillo Design Program, a specialized program focused on teaching the fundamentals of design and design technology. We love meeting these young designers, who are completely committed to design as a career, even at the high school level. And how lucky they are to have Scott Schaller teaching them. Scott’s such a big deal, he’s profiled in this month’s issue of STEP where our friend Christopher Simmons writes that Scott “transformed the program into one of the most remarkable high-school design programs in the country.” You can also check out this article praising him in his local Lompoc paper. We’ll see you next year, Scott!
