Murnau, Borzage and Fox

Director F.W. Murnau came to the U.S. in the 1930s to work with Fox, inspiring the local talent of Frank Borzage, among others. Both have since developed a cult following. Murnau’s film Four Devils is, according to anyone who saw it, the best film ever made, but unfortunately every print of it has now disappeared. One of the books in this box set is a wonderful record of this movie, with many never-before-seen stills. The other book tells the story of the two directors. A beautiful linen-covered box opens to reveal the two books and the DVD package.
