Amelia’s been visiting the Santa Monica Farmers Market for over 20 years and her time spent there not only makes her one of the foremost authorities on this beloved local institution, she’s also an expert on a way of life that’s focused around farm-to-table eating. Her respect for each of the farmers is evident, as is her deep appreciation for every piece of produce, from a giant Kabocha squash to a handful golden baby beets. We simply translated her passion to the page. Her first book, it’s already a best seller, and is well into its second edition.
